SAP Security Engineer.

Impactful opportunity with a federal government agency. This role will work with key stakeholders and leaders to provide expert advice on the creation and operational maintenance of various SAP platforms.

About the Role:

• Ensure SAP security aligns with risk and governance policies, minimising vulnerabilities and maintaining a secure environment.
• Partnering with subject matter experts, you’ll evaluate SAP security roles and user access, recommending adjustments to mitigate risks.
• Regularly conduct risk and segregation of duties (SOD) reviews across SAP systems, identifying and addressing potential security weaknesses.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to manage, remediate, and mitigate SAP security risks, ensuring optimal data protection.
• Develop efficient operational procedures to manage risk and governance activities for SAP access control.

About You:

• Experience navigating SAP security platforms with a strong understanding of best practices.
• Technical knowledge of platforms including SAP ABAP, SAP IDM, SAP HANA, and SAP GRC.
• Experience working with SAP ABAP Profile Generator, SAP HANA role build, SAP GRC development, monitoring, and role build, as well as SAP IDM development and monitoring.
• Experience working alongside business teams to understand their needs and propose effective security solutions.
