Job Summary: The organisation seeks an experienced and highly motivated National ICT Manager to oversee its technology operations, drive innovation, and ensure seamless system integration aligned with business objectives. Reporting directly to the Executive Leadership Team, the successful candidate will enable the organisation's people and systems to deliver exceptional service while fostering an inclusive and professional team culture.
  
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a forward-thinking ICT strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and operational goals.
  • Led, mentored, and managed a lean team of IT professionals, including a systems administrator, general IT support, and a programmer.
  • Serve as a key participant in management meetings, contributing to broader business discussions beyond ICT.
  • Ensure the ICT team’s focus remains on enabling the business to deliver services and products effectively, emphasizing practicality over theoretical tech solutions.
Cybersecurity & Training:
  • Oversee and enhance cybersecurity protocols to protect organisational data and assets.
  • Collaborate with external IT providers to ensure robust cybersecurity measures.
  • Provide internal training to equip staff with tools and knowledge for system proficiency and security.
  • Proactively address emerging issues, such as multi-factor authentication challenges, to avoid disruptions in business operations.
ERP Administration & Governance:
  • Manage the administration and governance of the Pronto ERP system, with a planned upgrade to Pronto XI780 within six months.
  • Provide strategic oversight for ERP enhancements and integration with business processes to maximise efficiency.
  • Act as a bridge between technical system management and operational needs, ensuring seamless function across dealer portals.
Technology Support & System Integration:
  • Oversee hardware lifecycle management, including phones, iPads, and computers.
  • Collaborate with external IT providers to ensure optimal server and network operations.
  • Maintain and improve dealer portals and B2B websites to support the company’s unique B2B model leveraging B and C marketing.
Internal Application Development & B2B Integrations:
  • Drive the development of internal applications to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Lead B2B website integration projects to improve client interactions and bolster e-commerce capabilities.
  • Leverage external partnerships for seamless technology implementation while managing contracts and vendor relations.
Professional Experience:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in technology management roles.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead ICT teams effectively in a lean environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Pronto, is beneficial but not critical.
  • Experience in cybersecurity best practices and governance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in system integration and B2B website management.
  • Practical understanding of aligning ICT roles as business enablers, particularly in family-owned business settings.

Remuneration:
  • Proposed salary range: $140,000 – $150,000 + Super, depending on qualifications and experience.
