COBOL Developers.

We are seeking skilled Mainframe Developers with COBOL expertise, from entry-level to senior skillsets. Contract commencing 1st May 2025. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Entry-Level:

• Create and refine simple programs/scripts.
• Apply agreed standards to deliver well-engineered results.
• Review and improve your own work.

Junior:

• Design, test, and maintain moderately complex programs.
• Collaborate in peer reviews for quality assurance.
• Ensure well-engineered outcomes using standard tools.

Intermediate:

• Handle complex programming tasks and integration services.
• Select development approaches (plan-driven or agile) for projects.
• Lead reviews and contribute to overall project quality.

Senior:

• Take responsibility for all stages of software development.
• Drive software construction activities and adopt best practices.
• Influence organisational policies and ensure software security.
