A leading aviation services provider in Brisbane is shaping the future of aviation with eight major transformation programs. One of these, the Enterprise Network Modernisation Program, is revolutionising the telecommunications infrastructure that will support Australia’s aviation network backbone.

As a Communications Specialist you’ll be part of a team of 85 professionals spread across Australia. Within this, the Communication Team consists of three members who work closely with project managers and service teams to deliver impactful, high-quality communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver communication materials, including board reports, business updates, explainer videos, and intranet news updates.
  • Simplify and articulate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including non-technical senior executives.
  • Create engaging visuals and graphics, often in PowerPoint, to support project communications.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to align communication strategies.
  • Produce short-form video content and manage digital communication platforms.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for communication initiatives.
  • Autonomously manage a portfolio of communication projects while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
About You
  • Able to simplify and communicate technical information and deliver impactful messages.
  • Skilled at creating clear and engaging content under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple topics and projects in a dynamic setting.
  • Interested in technology and infrastructure, with an ability to engage with engineering professionals.
  • Proficient in creating polished and visually appealing presentations - A PowerPoint Expert. 
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to collaborate effectively.
  • A plus for creating engaging multimedia content.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Canva – Adobe skills are an advantage.
  • Background in change transformation or design thinking.
  • Able to take ownership of tasks and drive projects to completion.
