Junior Test Data Analyst.

We are looking for a Junior Test Data Analyst to support testing, data quality, and process improvements for a federal government department.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to data requests within agreed timeframes and support continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies.
• Assist in testing digital tools, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Build Verification Testing (BVT).
• Contribute to quality management by preparing and reviewing test strategies, plans, scripts, and coverage matrices.
• Prepare accurate reports on performance, trends, and workload management.
• Support business areas by documenting and refining operating procedures and processes.

Ideal Candidate

• At least 2 years of testing experience, including 1 year working with analytics and reporting tools such as SQL Server, SAS, Tableau, Power BI, or SAS VA.
• Experience working on data-driven projects with a strong understanding of the software development and project life cycle.
• Hands-on experience testing data platforms, integrating with reporting and analytics tools and relational databases.
• Proficient in SQL, with intermediate to advanced skills.
  
• Due to the nature of this role, Australian Citizenship is required.
