Test Analyst.

We are working with a large Queensland based energy supplier who are committed to ensuring the reliability and security of their digital infrastructure. They are currently transitioning to a new platform to better support their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) needs. As they work towards this goal, they are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join the team.
  
Role Overview:
  
As a Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of our new platform. You will be responsible for developing test plans, executing test cases, and validating data migration processes. Your expertise will help us enhance our systems and protect our critical infrastructure.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans and execution strategies aligned with the Digital Testing Strategy.
• Collaborate with platform team members and the Platform Lead to clarify testing requirements based on project specifications and design artifacts.
• Create and execute test cases, facilitating defect resolution and maintaining test status reports using Micro Focus Quality Centre.
• Adhere to Energy Queensland Digital Division processes and procedures throughout the testing lifecycle.

  
Essential Criteria:

• Minimum of five years’ experience as a Test Analyst.
• Proficiency in using queries to validate data migration and transformation outcomes.
• Experience in testing multi-platform integrated application environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively resolve issues.
• Proven experience in writing test plans and test cases from requirements and/or technical documentation.

  
Desirable Criteria:

• Test Coordination experience.
• Understanding of Electricity Industry IT Systems.
• Experience with Business Intelligence platforms.
• Regulatory project experience, particularly in the Utility Industry.
• Familiarity with Micro Focus Quality Centre (ALM) or similar tools.
