A leading energy sector organisation driving digital transformation, managing key customer and market systems to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in translating regulatory requirements into business process and system changes, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-impact compliance-focused ICT projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with SMEs, vendors, and project teams to analyze regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable system changes.
- Develop and document business processes, functional specifications, and data models.
- Collaborate with testing teams to ensure business requirements are met during the testing phase.
- Support stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment between project goals and business needs.
- Assist with project reporting, risk identification, and issue resolution.
- Maintain compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks.
- 5+ years in a Business Analyst role, ideally within large and complex environments.
- Strong background in regulatory compliance projects, business process modelling (BPMN, UML), and converting business requirements into functional specifications.
- Experience working with Customer Information Systems, Meter Data Management Systems, and Billing Systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Experience working within Agile project delivery frameworks and using tools like Jira and Quality Centre.
- Experience in the energy sector, understanding of AEMO market rules, and regulatory requirements is advantageous.
