You’ll be the key player in driving value, cost-efficiency, and supplier performance while collaborating with a range of stakeholders to ensure the program's success.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead procurement activities and negotiate contracts that deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Develop acquisition strategies and conduct market analysis to guide critical sourcing decisions.
- Provide expert contract advice and manage relationships with top suppliers.
- Ensure full compliance with procurement policies and industry best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to optimise service delivery models.
- Become the subject matter expert for procurement systems like ARIBA.
- Manage high-value, high-risk contracts, ensuring performance and risk are tightly controlled.
- Australian Citizenship (required for security clearance).
- Experience in end-to-end sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills and a talent for resolving disputes.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to analyse complex financial models.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of contracts, SLAs, and procurement processes.
- Telecommunications networks and infrastructure procurement experience (ideal, but not essential).
