Originally from the UK and the beautiful Cotswolds region, Darren migrated to Australia in 2025 and is looking to call Australia home. He brings with him a wealth of experience in financial operations, with a specialisation in the recruitment sector, and a genuine passion for making complex things simple.

Darren is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and as Group Finance Manager, he oversees the financial operations and strategic planning for BLACKROC. But his impact goes far beyond the numbers. His automation mindset has transformed how the business operates, creating efficiencies that free up the team to focus on what matters most.

When he's not revolutionising spreadsheets, Darren enjoys travelling and exploring new places, and is a bit of a foodie. He brings the same appreciation for quality to his work as he does to a well-prepared meal.
